i was having a conversation with a freind the other day about trying to
invent a new kind of phat sound. Like "phat beats" type sound, but from
another angle. I thought about autechre and ep7, (i dont have a song
list)...the third and fourth songs on it are amazingly fresh in a very
different way from typical normal beat rhythms kind of sound....theyre
like borderline coherent...i saw that as possibly new directions in
"phatness"...goes to show autechre isnt slowing down...what will they do
next? am i full of shit or what? discuss.
